Hossein Ghodosi's research interests range from theoretical aspects of modeling and system design, to applications and their analysis in Cryptography. His primary research area as a PhD student was the study of Society-Oriented and/or Threshold Cryptography. His dissertation, entitled 'Society-Oriented Cryptographic Techniques for Information Protection' supervised by Professor Josef Pieprzyk at University of Wollongong, Australia (1998).
Currently his principle research themes are: Multi-Party Computations, Oblivious Transfers, and Secret Sharing Schemes.
