Day of Immunology - Using the immune system to treat cancer

Presented by Professor Geoffrey Hill, from QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute

If you grow up without a functioning immune system, you will not only lack any means whatsoever to protect yourself from the germs that cause disease, but your body will also not be able to detect or eliminate any of its own cells that misbehave. Unchecked, such cells can eventually develop into cancer.

Come along and hear Professor Geoffrey Hill  discuss How to use your immune system to treat cancer.
