International Workshops organized by Dixon and Aikhenvald within the Research Centre for Linguistic Typology, 1997-2007

Under the leadership of Dixon and Aikhenvald, RCLT organised nine International Workshops on theoretical topics of current issues. The first two were at the ANU, in 1997 and 1998, then at La Trobe in each year from 2000 to 2005, and then in 2007 . The best papers from each International Workshop are published as a 'state-of-the-art' volume. From the fifth workshop onwards, they have appeared in a special series Explorations in Linguistic Typology, from Oxford University Press.
