Eijaz is a Senior Lecturer (in Management) at the College of Business, Law & Governance, James Cook University. He received a PhD (in Management) from Curtin University, Australia; MBA (in Strategy) from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand; and an MBA and BBA from the University of Dhaka. Before joining James Cook University, he worked in Australia (University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney, Melbourne Institute of Technology, Asia Pacific International College) and Bangladesh (Khulna University).
Eijaz’s major research expertise and interests are: Sustainability, Strategy, Circular Economy, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain, and Innovation, and his teaching interests are: Strategy,Entreprenaurship, Innovation, Project Management, and Supply Chain. Eijaz has published papers in Management Decision, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Education+Training, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, Entrepreneurship Research Journal, etc. He has also presented papers at several conferences. Currently, he is the Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Management & Organization. He is a member of the AOM, ANZAM and SEAANZ.
