About

Social media is a popular platform for sharing experiences on products through text and video. The sheer volume of these reviews makes data cleaning and analysis challenging. Allowing artificial intelligence on social media such as face recognition has resulted in big fines. I am working on an algorithm that can summarise millions of videos in a fraction of a second without the need for manual labelling. As we know that the context of a word changes with the product type. Hence, an approach for domain adaptation is needed so that we don’t need to retrain the model.

PhD students interested in different areas of artificial intelligence may send me their resumes. For international students, the scholarship requires that you must be fluent in English and have a first-author ERA journal or conference paper. For domestic students, a good GPA in your bachelors or a masters might be sufficient.
