- Indicative Funding
- $145,405 over 4 years
- Summary
- This project remotely assists the Torres Strait Rangers Program to implement their intertidal seagrass monitoring program in the Torres Strait. The current study is the next phase of the Torres Strait intertidal seagrass monitoring (2007-present) that had its beginnings in education, training and capacity building. The rangers now own the monitoring process and the role of this project is now about ensuring that the data collected is of quality, has integrity and is reported back to the rangers for them to convey to their communities.
