In 2015, Jennifer completed a grounded theory PhD study that explored the processes of interaction between consumers and health professionals. In her current role as Research Fellow for the Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Research, James Cook University, Jennifer has worked collaboratively on a wide range of research projects including in the following areas: mental health nursing, primary health care, disaster management, teaching and learning, and clinical practice. Jennifer’s research interests include consumers’ perspectives of health and health care and qualitative methodologies. Jennifer also has extensive professional experience in quality management processes in the non-government health sector and is a qualified ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Auditor.
