Biography
Dr. Desti Kannaiah is currently working as a Senior Lecture, Accounting & Finance discipline James Cook University Singapore. His area of research focus is in accounting and finance particularly management accounting, financial accounting, foreign direct investment and corporate governance. He has been working with overseas faculty for the past three decades and published more than 37 research papers which are recognised by ERA, SCOPUS and ABDC. Desti is a co author of "Advanced Cost Accounting".
Desti is supervising a number of research projects of MBA students at JCU Singapore. He was a supervisor for M.Phil scholars. He has been an external examiner for the award of PhD. degree for a number of Universities since 2007.
Desti was a founder of JCU Singapore accounting club for the students in 2012. In addition to research and leadership, he teaches accounting and finance modules to undergraduate and graduate students at JCU Singapore.
Desti is keen to supervise Ph.D. scholars in Management accounting and Financial accounting.
