Professor Ken Greenwood is the Dean of Research and Professor of Psychology at the Singapore campus of James Cook University (JCU). Prior to this appointment, Ken was Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health, Engineering and Science and Pro-Vice-Chancellor: Engagement (Science, Technology and Engineering) at Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia.  Ken worked previously at RMIT University, the University of Canberra, La Trobe University and Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences.

 Professor Greenwood has worked as an academic all of his life and contributed both as an educator and as a researcher. He has more than 130 publications in international journals and has been successful in having his work supported by grants from various bodies including the ARC and the NHMRC. He has taught extensively across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate subjects and across a range of content areas in his own discipline of psychology. He has been an active contributor in the development of new courses and in professional accreditation activities. He has been actively sought after as a supervisor of graduate students and has been involved in the supervision of more than 40 completed postgraduate students.

 Professor Greenwood holds the degrees of Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours), Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and Doctor of Philosophy from La Trobe University and Doctor of Psychology from Swinburne University of Technology. He is a registered Psychologist in Australia with endorsements in Counselling Psychology and Health Psychology and a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the College of Counselling Psychologists and College of Health Psychologists.
