Dr Lai Kuan Lim completed a Bachelor of Education in Singapore before coming to Australia to continue her career in Education.  Shefurthered her studies completing a  Doctorate of Philosophy in 2006 with JCU and was  awarded a University Medal for the high calibre of her Doctorate.  Today her work includes lecturing full time, supervising honours and higher degree students, publishing across a variety of educational topics and contributing to the local community through her involvement in various education related projects.
