About

Elizabeth (Liz) Ware previously worked as a state-wide education co-ordinator for more than 3 years with QLD Health Medical Education and Training, and as a medical education officer for 10 years. She has participated in national and state education working parties, has been team leader for junior doctor training program accreditations, and managed state-wide projects, educational seminars and forums. She has been lecturing online postgraduate subjects at JCU since 2015.

Living in Mackay, Liz has a strong connection to the local community and is currently a member of the Mackay Isaac Whitsunday Regional Community Forum. 

Current research interests include orientation to online learning, assessment strategies, and social learning in virtual environments.
