I am a chemist by trade with a specialty in physical chemistry, particularly in examining chemical reactions/processes. My main expertise includes the following: physical chemistry; anti-fouling expertise; Bayer process; crystal growth, kinetics and thermodynamics of chemical reactions; high power ultrasonics; zeolites; thin film deposition by gas phase and sol gel processes; and carbon nanotubes and nanowires of other materials. I have managed or been actively involved in many research projects, and have attracted more than $2,000,000 in research funding from competitive research grants and external contracts. In all, I have more than 22 years experience in research, and am quite familiar with a range of research environments.
