With over 23 years of experience in academia, Mohammad Azim is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ), Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Australia), and qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA, Australia). Whilst engaging with professional accounting bodies, he also has published over 50 research studies, with the majority appearing in high-quality international journals. Dr Azim serves on the editorial board of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Accounting and Finance, and the Interdisciplinary Studies Journal.
With a focus on practical relevance and real-life problem solving, Dr Azim is highly regarded for his teaching. For instance, he was awarded the Quality Teaching Award from both the Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, and the University of South Australia.
