Nimrod taught for nine years in the Philippines before he joined James Cook University Singapore in December 2012 as a learning advisor for the degree programs. In July 2019, he completed his doctorate degree Doctor of Communication (DCOMM) with the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU), a coursework and research track. His research interests include reflective studies, rhetoric/rhetoric studies, intercultural communication and development communication.
