Nimrod taught for nine years in the Philippines before he joined James Cook University Singapore in December 2012 as a learning advisor for students enrolled in the degree programs. In September 26, 2019, he completed his doctorate degree Doctor of Communication (DCOMM) with the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU), a coursework and research track. His research interests include reflective practice/reflective studies, rhetoric/rhetoric studies, intercultural communication, multiculturalism, organisational communication, business communication and development communication.
