Teneale joined Sport & Exercise Science in 2010 after completing her honours degree and has commenced studying her PhD titled: measure, monitor and reduce sitting time in the workplace.

Teneale is the First Year Experience Coordinator for the discipline and has recently received a JCU Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.
