Teneale joined Sport & Exercise Science in the College of Healthcare Sciences in 2010. Teneale completed her PhD in 2018 titled: measure, monitor and reduce sitting time in the workplace.
Teneale has experience working with elite athletes and junior athletes. More recently, Teneale has focused on behaviour change specifically for reducing sedentary behaviour in an occupational setting.
Throughout Teneale's time with JCU, she has been the First Year Experience Coordinator and Academic Adivsor for the discipline of Sport and Exercise Science.
