Public support for the Australian Cardiovascular Alliance (ACvA)

Jaye Chin-Dusting is the Chair of the Board for the Australian Cardiovascular Research Alliance. It is an alliance of all cardiovascular research expertise in this country including individual members as well as member societies, organisations and institutions. The ACvA are advocating for a greater focus on cardiovascular disease research given this still remains the number one killer in the country and indeed globally.

The ACvA have just opened a portal to enable members of the public to sign on board to show your support.  This is at no cost to you. It is a way for patients, their families and friends and just concerned citizens of the world to show they recognise the need for more research in this sector.

Only your name and state will be published on the website.  The key purpose for this is for when the ACvA advocate to the National Heart Foundation or Canberra or State Health Departments for more resources, the ACvA can say they have over xxxxx members of public in support.
