    • Descriptor

This dataset contains the SLIM model application, and the metadata files to run the simulations of flatback post-hatchling dispersal in the Great Barrier Reef. Scripts are run by typing the name of the file in the SLIM application. The script to run the hydrodynamic model is called "sGBRHydro-monthlynormalwind-neapspring-202days.txt". The scripts for each scenario are named "Turtles_XXXXX.txt". The folder "data", the text files named "ScXXX", and the file "*.msh" are all input files for the models. Supporting material includes a document (Masterfiles-outputs guidelines) showing which Masterfile was used to create each output as well as the releasing locations and corresponding tag number (ID of the location) for each set of files.

The SLIM software used in this study is undergoing a licensing process at the time of publication, and is regrettably not available for public use at the present time. It is available upon request. Please contact Dr. Jonathan Lambrechts (jonathan.lambrechts@uclouvain.be), and request a copy of the executable file: “slim-O-32_January-2015.exe”.
