    This dataset contains biomass compositional data for seaweeds from published articles that resulted from a systematic literature search performed in November 2014.

      This data set contains nitrogen, protein and amino acid compositional data for seaweeds from 236 published articles that results from a systematic literature search in November 2014. The data set also contains nitrogen-to-protein conversion factor data calculated for various methods of protein determination. Each entry is identified by: - the articles authors - date of publication - journal of publication - discipline of publication - taxonomic information - geographic distribution - whether the seaweed was cultivated of wild harvested - the method of internal nitrogen determination - the method of protein determination.
