  • Adult CoTs were collected from reefs around Lizard Island (14°40’ S; 145°27’ E), northern Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia. Experiments were conducted at the Lizard Island Research Station.

    These data relate to predation on settlement-age crown-of-thorns starfish larvae by benthic predators (polychaetes and coral crabs), and responses of these larvae to these benthic predators that may serve to reduce vulnerability to predation.
