Description
Descriptions
  1. Type: brief

This dataset represents a comprehensive investigation into poaching by recreational fishers - including why fishers think others poach, the normative influences, beliefs, attitudes and perceived behavioural controls that may affect fishers' compliance behaviours.

  2. Type: full

Data yielded by a multi-disciplinary approach that uses the theory of planned behaviour as a foundation on which to investigate fisher perceptions of poaching. Most data is in the form of Likert Scales, representing individual fisher's agreement or disagreement with statements about poaching. Data was collected April 2015-December 2016, 682 surveys were completed on boat ramps during the study period.

  3. Type: note

Data set consists of the data file in Comma-separated values (.csv) format, the survey tool in pdf format, and a data key in both MS Excel (.xlsx) format and Open Document (.ods) format. The CSV data is available via negotiated access only, the supporting files are public.
