Thermal performance of Acropora sp. and Porites cylindrica at Heron Island, Orpheus Island and Lizard Island (GBR)

Fragments of Acropora sp. and Porites cylindrica were exposed to a thermal gradient during which their photosynthesis rate, respiration rate, maximum quantum yield and electron transport rate were measured. After completion of the thermal experiment, the corals were sacrificed to determine the chlorophyll concentration.
