About

Dr Michelle Krahe is a Senior Research Fellow in Digital Health Implementation at James Cook University. In her role with the Northern Australian Regional Digital Health Collaborative (NARDHC), she collaborates with stakeholders from the health sector, digital/technology, and industry partners to co-design and implement digital health solutions tailored for northern Australia.

With experience spanning higher education, research, and healthcare sectors, Dr Krahe brings a unique and transferable skill set. Her expertise lies in evidence-based practice, implementation science, and data analysis. She has played pivotal roles in strategic research programs and is highly experienced in obtaining and managing high-value research grants, delivering collaborative projects, and working across multiple organisations and stakeholder groups.

Dr Krahe's interests encompass the intricate links between implementation, behavior change, service equity/equality, place-based approaches, digital health, and health systems. Currently, she is working in: digital health implementation; service delivery and priority setting; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing; early years for lifelong health, development, and wellbeing; and, scientometrics and data visualisation for decision making.
