Dr Zehntner is an academic developer in the Centre for Education and Enhancement at JCU. He has extensive experience in educational design in blended and online learning contexts at the University of Tasmania and Southern Cross University.
Dr Zehntner is a past student of James Cook University completing postgraduate education qualifications before moving to the University of Tasmania to complete his PhD. in mentoring in education.
Dr Zehntner is a previous recipient of several institutional Teaching and Learning citations for excellence (across two institutions) and recognition of excellence in research at Southern Cross University.
His research focuses on education in sports and technology contexts. He has published, presented, and consulted extensively in this field.
