As an analytical chemist I initially joined the JCU BPharm team in the role of setting up and running the teaching and research laboratory facilities. I also quickly found a role in supporting academic projects particularly in the area of repackaging and stability studies. In 2009 I became a lecturer and currently teach into areas such as pharmaceutics and compounding.
My research interests include the use of analytical techniques in the area of pharmaceutical research. Tapping into my background in teaching I also have in interest in pharmacy education, with my PhD project investigating the area of professional identity development.
